Ida Aldrich came to the Lavonia Police Department in 1999.  She serves the department as administrative assistant, but serves in many capacities including court clerk, reception, database coordinator and many other roles that she fulfils when necessary.

        Ida began her career in law enforcement in 1981 as a dispatcher for the Toccoa Police Department.  There she went on to become court clerk in 1982 and eventually became the primary Terminal Agency Coordinator for the agency before leaving to come to work at the Lavonia Police Department.

        In 1991 she helped to found the "TAC Association", where she is still a member.

        Ida graduated from Stephens County High School in 1970.  She is married to Freddie Aldrich and they have two children, Brian and Chris.
