Ken began his law enforcement career with the Franklin County Sheriff's Department and came to the Lavonia Police Department in February of 2002.  He graduated from his basic mandate course in June of that same year.  In December 2004 Ken was promoted to Corporal and currently serves on the night watch. in July of 2006 Ken was promoted to Sergeant of Night Shift.

          Ken has attended federal drug enforcement training in Mississippi and is a Certified Field Training Officer.

          Ken is also the Animal Control/ Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Lavonia. Ken is the Fleet Manager for the Lavonia Police Department vehicles.
