On behalf of the Lavonia Police Department, I welcome you to our website. I hope you will find our site useful and informative.. It is intended to serve as an additional contact point with other law enforcement professions, and most importantly, the citizens we serve. We are always looking for new ways to meet the needs of our residents and feel that this site will assist us in better serving a busy, mobile public.

With a concentrated effort on Community Oriented Policing and an aggressive campaign against drugs and domestic violence, the Lavonia Police Department has adopted a policy of zero tolerance of crime in its jurisdiction. Furthermore, the Lavonia Police Department seeks to enhance the safety and quality of life of all area residents, visitors, as well as those employed by the businesses in the City of Lavonia.

I hope our citizens will test our commitment by using this site to report non-emergency neighborhood problems, complaints and suggestions. I will read all e-mail sent to me and direct it to the appropriate unit of the police department for action.
