Lt. Moorhead said “I am very proud of our explorers.  They went up against some very tough competition and were able to place in half of the events they competed in.  This is just one example of the fine young men and women that we have coming up through our program.”

The Lavonia Police Explorer post helps youth to gain insight into a variety of programs that offer hands-on law enforcement activities. For young men and women who are interested in careers in the field of law enforcement, Exploring offers experiential learning with lots of fun-filled, hands-on activities that promote the growth and development of adolescent youth.
